1. Slow Learners records are shipping now! If you want to save some money on postage, do us a favour and harass your favourite local record store to order it (and all the other in-print Debt Offensive releases) super cheap through F.A.B Distribution. Great folks and an even better distro.
If you want to mailorder the record, you can do so HERE!
If you want to stream/purchase the record digitally, visit our bandcamp page NOW!
2. Webstore has been updated to reflect new postage rates, but I kept them as low as possible. Speaking of the store, I found a few lost copies of the classic S.T.R.E.E.T.S "Worms" LP and those are up for sale now for a limited time! This was released on my main hombre's label Hit the Deck way back in 2004 and we found a spare box while moving some stuff a couple weeks back, so get on this!
That's it for now, check back soon for new release announcements!

(Morrissey Quote)
Makes me so happy to see bands that have records on this little thing I call label constantly and consistently releasing great music and forging ahead to big things. Case in point: Slates and No Problem. Both released new records in the past couple months, and both are easy candidates for record of the year, at least to these jaded ears.
Slates' new full length "Taija", recorded by Steve Albini, was released on a beautiful 2xLP package via New Damage Records in April.
No Problem's 2nd LP on Deranged "Already Dead" slays me. So much better than their first LP which really says something considering how good that one was. I fucking love this record and it's so great to see these guys progressing with each and every new song they write.
To tie this all back to this label, I am running super low on all records on Debt Offensive by both bands. I have less than 5 copies left of the Slates "Wangwee" and No Problem "Living in the Void" 7"s, and less than 50 of the No Problem "Paranoid Times" tour repress (still some on white vinyl). Act now if you want them!

It gets tougher than tough
Hey it's almost April, time for a March update. Yeah. The Woolworm/Grown-Ups split 7" is shipping now. Go to the store and order it and it will be on your doorstep almost immediately (not a guarantee). Woolworm have some shows coming up, check out their facebook page for more details. Grown-Ups aren't a band anymore but might play a couple last shows. Check out their facebook page as well for some other details should they happen.
While you're in the midst of checking things out, check out this episode of In It To Spin It, a Vancouver music show, that features a nice little interview with Woolworm during their release show. They tip you off to a future release we are doing, so see if you can spot it. More info on that soon...
Listen to that Jook reissue on Sing Sing.

Woolworm/Grown-Ups split 7"
We're kicking off the new year with this great split 7" from Vancouver's Woolworm and Calgary's Grown-Ups, which comes out March 1st.
Woolworm finally make their foray into the world of vinyl(s) and we could not be happier to be involved in some small way. These fine folks from Vancouver have a driving brit pop/shoegaze vibe going on and remind me a lot of early MBV filtered through whatever 90's post-punk college radio mainstay band you want to insert (Gumball? Mercury Rev? Cell? The possibilities are endless!)
Calgary's Grown-Ups play catchy garage punk that would fit nicely with the latest Recess Records sampler. They will sadly not be a band for much longer, which is a true shame, but what a way to go out. Pigpen is one of the best songs I have heard in some time and I absolutely cannot get it out of my head.
300 pressed, available for pre-order now over at debtoffensiverecs.bigcartel.com
Stream/preview/download the record in its entirety over on bandcamp.

No Problem "Paranoid Times" limited repress
In 2011 I assisted my friend Handsome Dan in releasing the 2nd No Problem record, the "Paranoid Times" EP. It went quickly out of print and has been unavailable for awhile. With the band going on a month-long American tour this month (I'd love to give you a full list of dates but those dudes are as flakey as me when it comes to putting info up online), we decided to do a limited repress on Debt Offensive.
There are 250 pressed, 100 on white vinyl, 150 on black. It has a slightly different mastering and center labels than the first press, for those asking.
Order this fucker now over at the webstore! While you're there you may want to pick up one of the last 15 copies of the "Living in the Void" 7" left. I still have a few on red vinyl too.

Kent State "The Wrong Side of History" LP :: Available Now!
The Kent State LPs arrived this week and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Absolutely love the artwork that Emma Maatman (who also played on this LP) did for the record too, it really brings the whole thing together perfectly.
Kent State was introduced to me some time ago as one of the dude's from Deep Sleep (one of my fave current punk/hardcore bands) new project that sounds like Guided by Voices, Swervedriver and Mega City Four. Any band compared to Swervedriver, let alone MC4, I will always check out. Always. Anyway I was blown away by the demo (the Spahn Ranch EP, which appears on this record) and when I started the label I always had it in the back of my head that I would love to do a Kent State record of some kind. I'm very appreciative of the fact that Nick (aka Kent State mastermind) was into this idea of a singles collection and hope this is just the first of many volumes.
Scum stats on this sucker: 500 pressed in total, 400 on black and 100 on blue vinyl. Down to about 35 copies of the blue version left which are only available through me (the band sold their's out instantly) so grab one from the store quickly if you want one! Comes with download code. Co-release with Paranoid Futures.
Copies will be or currently are available at Ebullition, Grave Mistake, Sorry State, Dead Beat and others in the next week or so. For wholesale please shoot me an email or contact Ebullition.
